A smallish boating community of more than 200 homes on three streets just off Airport-Pulling Road. Coconut River Estates is just about as close to the city of Naples as it possibly can get without being in the city. Coconut River Estates is one of the few non-gated neighborhoods in greater Naples that has its own swimming pool, boat ramp and other recreational amenities for the optional use of its residents. The Coconut River Estates Civic Association, popularly known as "CRECA" (pronounced creeka), is in effect a recreational organization to which resident families in the neighborhood have the option of becoming members for the price of the ridiculously low membership dues. The members are very enthusiastic about our swimming pool, two tennis courts, the kids' playground, the open pavilion, two shuffleboard courts and the boat ramp which provides access to scenic boat rides down the Gordon River to Naples Bay and the Gulf. While lawn and pool services are contracted, almost all other maintenance and cleaning of the facilities are carried out by member volunteers.
